Eastbourne. This firm published green tinted halftones of Eastbourne and Herstmonceux Castle. Some cards have printed captions; others are captionless. A distinctive logo based on the letter "N" occupies the stamp space. No postmarks have been found, and the firm does not appear to be listed in Directories.

A sepia-tinted real photographic version of the Hampden Park card reproduced at the top of this page has been found postmarked June 1908. It is labelled on the back "The Photo Post Card Co." in faded blue ink, apparently using a hand stamp. George Hutchinson lived at Hampden Park and traded under the name "The Photo Postcard Co.", but always spelled "Postcard" as one word, not two, and included his address on the back of his cards in a properly printed label using black type. As far as is known he never stamped any of his cards in blue. It seems unlikely therefore that he was the author of the Nevill Novelty Co. cards or the card stamped in blue, but further investigation is needed.
